Yes its true, despite a spectacular absence of blogging for over two months, Mr Bagel has returned.
Mr Bagel has been 'moving' from a remote country location to a more civilised part of Australia.
Moving has required Mr Bagel to do five seperate trips of over 2,000kms each, despite selling what we thought was almost all of our worldly possesions, we still had to do five trips to move our 'personal belongings'. Which raises one very valid point, how personal can 5 trailers worth of belongings be? Do you think Mr Bagel might just be a horder? mmm?
Anyway after selling all our furniture we have been rushing around buying beds and fridges and lounges and just about everything else required to life a civilised life. Now that Mr Bagel has moved to civilisation he has decided to stop talking to the soccer ball with a wig. (Tom Hanks.)
We've only been in town a week but, living where there are shops, and services is such a refreshing break from living hours away from the most basic shopping. Its taking some adjustment, I generally spoke to about 3 peaople a month where I lived, now I see hundreds a day.
Mr Bagel: Thank you to all the well wishers and the emails I received

Anniversary Blend Coffee
Returns to Honor Occasion

[ Please be aware that August 18th is on the Shabbath. ]
WALNUT CREEK, Calif., July 2 -- Noah's Bagels, an Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. brand is once again uncorking some fine caffeine in honor of its 18th anniversary. The Anniversary Blend coffee will be offered for a limited time only from July 4th through the month of August while supplies last.
Back by popular demand for its smooth, artisan-roasted flavor that captures the Noah's heritage that began when its first restaurant opened in 1989, the Anniversary Blend was originally created by Noah's Bagels' general managers during the company's annual conference in 2006. Seventy-four general managers participated in a build-a-blend competition hosted by Coffee Bean International (CBI).
The result is a rich, dark coffee that perfectly complements the traditional baked goods still crafted at Noah's today.
"Nothing speaks more about Noah's than how we created our new Anniversary Blend," said Brad West, senior vice president of operations. "It was truly a collaborative effort. Our general managers know the Noah's brand and what our guests like, so it's no surprise that together they created this extraordinary coffee."
In honor of the 18th Anniversary, all 74 Noah's restaurants will offer a 12-oz. cup of the Anniversary Blend or any other 12-oz. coffee for 18 cents all day long on Aug. 18.
Founded when Noah Alper, a native New Yorker and his family relocated to San Francisco from Brooklyn, NY, they noticed something was missing -- bagels. With the encouragement of his brother, Noah decided to bring the taste and quality of New York bagels to the Bay area. Thus Noah's New York Bagels was born in August 1989, in Emeryville, Calif. The first store was located on College Avenue in Berkeley and is still open today. The new bagel shop was quite the rave in California and the company's reputation and sales grew as a result."Noah's Bagels provides a slice of the old neighborhood that moved from the East Coast to the West," said West. "We've brought our heritage, the flavors and the feel of our roots to all our restaurants, and we're so pleased to celebrate this milestone with our guests."
